It is indeed rare that an Australian home doesn’t contain at least one Panasonic product such as a TV, microwave, cordless telephone, radio or an air conditioner. In the business world, Panasonic provides innovative products like PBX, “tough” notebook computers, commercial projectors, electronic whiteboards, CCTV cameras and broadcast cameras.
Every year we give back to the community through our corporate social responsibility program. In 2009, our ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ investment totalled A$1.5 million and included projects such as Kid Witness News, Telstra Business Awards, Macquarie University’s Chair in Environmental Sustainability (currently held by Professor Tim Flannery), cartridge recycling, the National Packaging Covenant and Refrigerant Reclaim Australia. We are also actively working with the Australian Government to introduce the recycling of television sets. When you purchase a Panasonic product, we want you to enjoy it for many years.
