Instructions on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the MyPanasonic Incentive promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion involving Panasonic products. |

The Promotion begins on 09/01/2012 and ends at 11.59pm AEDST on 04/01/2013 (“Promotion Period”). |

This Promotion is open to all Australian residents who are natural persons aged 18 years and over. Employees and directors of the Promoter, the Promoter’s related companies or any agencies involved in this Promotion, and the immediate families of each of those persons are eligible to participate in this Promotion provided that they purchase a new Panasonic product. |

To enter, eligible individuals must purchase any Panasonic product through a participating Australian retail outlet during the Promotion Period and register their Panasonic product purchased on MyPanasonic online. Purchases from 30/11/2011 will also be accepted and eligible for registration for the purposes of entry. Any purchases from 30/11/2011 that have already been registered prior to the start of the promotion period, will be automatically entered at the commencement of the Promotion Period. To register their product for the purposes of entry, individuals must visit (www.panasonic.com.au) follow the prompts to the registration page, input the requested details including title, full name, country, email address, product type, product category or brand, model number, product serial number, purchase date, dealers name, suburb (place of purchase) and the purchase value and then submit the fully completed online registration page during the Promotion Period. |

Multiple entries are permitted, but are limited to one (1) entry per Panasonic product purchased through a participating retail outlet within Australia, and each entry must be submitted separately for each purchase. |

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. |

Commercial or business transactions involving the purchase of a Panasonic product, lay-by’s not paid in full by 04/01/2013 and short term rental transaction contracts of less than twenty four (24) months are excluded from this Promotion (“Excluded Transactions”). Educational institutions, hospitals, fundraisers and government departments or organisations of a similar kind are classed as business transactions and therefore not eligible. The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any entry for any Excluded Transaction. |

Purchases via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites are also excluded from this Promotion (“Excluded Purchase”). The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any entry for any Excluded Purchase. |

The draw will take place at Handling Matters Pty Ltd, 1-3 Green Street Brookvale NSW 2100 on 08/01/2013 at 3pm AEDST. The winner will be notified in writing by mail within two (2) business days and their name will be published in The Australian on 16/01/2013. |

The first valid entry drawn from all entries received will win their choice of Panasonic products, available at the time of winning notification, up to the value of RRP$10,000 (“The Prize”). |

The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as or redeemed for cash. |

The Promoter's decision is final on all matters in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into. |

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. |

Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrants entries and forfeiture of any right to The Prize. |

Total prize pool value is up to RRP$10,000. |

A draw for The Prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 08/04/2013 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner, if any, will be notified in writing by mail within two (2) business days and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 18/04/2013. |

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the entrant’s details (including the entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry redemption process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. |

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant. |

Any incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible submission of an entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any equipment, software or any injury or damage to a claimant’s or other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of materials in relation to this Promotion. |

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. |

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion. |

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of The Prize. |

The Promoter shall not be responsible for any delays caused as a result of inbound transportation, disruptions (including but not limited to strikes, weather, postage delays etc) which are caused by events, which are beyond the control of the Promoter and/or the supplier of The Prize. |

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. If the entrant opts-in at the time of entry, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter’s Privacy Officer. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
