The DMC-FH3 comes with iA (Intelligent Auto) mode, a powerful DC Vario lens and 14.1 megapixel resolution for flawless photographs at the touch of a button
The DMC-FH1 boasts iA (Intelligent Auto) mode designed to take the guesswork out of capturing perfect images. MEGA OIS (Optical Image Stabiliser) combats shaky hands and the low frequency vibration produced by pressing the shutter button. Intelligent ISO Control detects subtle motion and automatically raises the ISO setting to prevent motion blur. Face Detection AF/AE optimises focus and exposure and keeps faces from appearing dark in contrasting light situations, while Intelligent Scene Selector frees you from having to fiddle around with settings each time the ambient conditions change.
Capture more in high resolution
The DMC-FH3 features 14.1 megapixel CCD and a 28 mm wide-angle DC Vario lens that is perfect for snapping large groups or expansive scenery. When you need to bring your subject in closer, the Extra Optical Zoom function uses the centre part of the CCD to extend the 5x ratio to a powerful 10.5x zoom at a resolution of 3 megapixels or less.
High-speed performance and start-up
Moving subjects have never been so easy to capture in perfect focus, thanks to engineering improvements that have resulted in ultra high-speed AF (AutoFocus) performance. With no delay between pressing the button and taking the picture, you will never miss a moment of the action. Better yet, the linear programme processing has been replaced with parallel processing to achieve a significantly faster start-up time
Dazzling high-definition movies, even in low light
Remarkable pictures aren’t the only reason you will love your Lumix DMC-FH3: just wait until you are recording movies in high definition motion JPEG or WVGA video. You can even record beautiful, bright movies in low-light settings.
High resolution LCD displays bright clear images day and night
The DMC-FH3's large 2.7 inch LCD features high 230,000-dot resolution Intelligent LCD. It automatically adjusts the brightness in 11 steps according to shooting conditions. This LCD provides sharp, clear images in virtually all shooting situations, ranging from night-time to bright daylight scenes. In addition, the High-angle mode makes the display extremely easy to view from a low angle, for example, when taking photos by raising your hand upward to capture the subject over the crowd.
