Lumix DMC-FX700 hybrid digital camera with 24 mm wide-angle f/2.2 Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens and full HD movie in AVCHD.
The Lumix DMC-FX700 packs a host of leading-edge imaging technologies into a slim and stylish body. Top of the list is its f/2.2 Leica DC Vario-Summicron wide-angle lens, which lets you shoot at higher shutter speed to capture sharp, blur-free images even in low light. Power Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) corrects blur caused from hand shake with twice the correction power of previous technologies. The 24 mm wide-angle gives you around 213% larger shooting area than a conventional 35 mm lens.
Shoot beautiful movies that sound as good as they look
The Lumix DMC-FX700 records 1,920 x 1,080 full HD video in AVCHD with the extraordinary sound quality of Dolby Digital Stereo. Engage the Intelligent Auto with AF tracking and the camera does all the thinking, while you concentrate on following and zooming in on the action. When you’re finished shooting, simply place your SD card in to the slot on your VIErA TV and use the remote control to see and share on the big screen.
New technologies deliver awesome results
To make the most of full HD movie recording, Panasonic developed a 14.1 megapixel MOS sensor featured in the Lumix DMC-FX700. This advanced sensor shoots at an incredibly fast 10 fps or 5 fps with continuous AF in 14 megapixel full resolution, and 60 fps in approx. 3.5 megapixel resolution, while the camera’s innovative Venus Engine FHD applies Intelligent Resolution technology. The result is incredibly clear, crisp photos and movies that are amazingly true to life.
The camera’s Intelligent Auto boasts a new Motion Deblur mode that works with its Intelligent ISO Control and Intelligent Exposure to enhance picture quality. Combined with the Power Optical Image Stabliser, it prevents blurry images including hand shake. In Intelligent Auto, the camera does all the work for you, including Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection, AF/AE, Face Recognition, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Exposure and AF Tracking. Intelligent Burst mode decides the best frame rate in burst shooting according to the speed of the subject’s motion.
If you’d like to get creative, use the manual Aperture-priority to create a soft-focused background, or the Shutter-priority for dynamic rendering of streaming water.
Big, bright touch-screen for intuitive fingertip control
The Lumix DMC-FX700’s 3.0 inch touchscreen LCD makes operation simple and fast. For example, you can set AF at the desired part of the frame with just a touch, while simultaneously operating the AF and releasing the shutter. Playback is easy – just scroll and select images.
