A magnesium alloy chassis and shock-mounted flex-connect hard drive allows the device to withstand a drop of around 76 centimetres (just over the typical height of a desk or table) to the base of the unit while operating. It also features a spill-resistant keyboard that can protect against spills of up to 177 millilitres.
