Panasonic Full HD 3D: An all new viewing experience
3D TV in Full HD is the next big breakthrough in home entertainment technology and Panasonic is leading the way, bringing a total solution to 3D imaging. Panasonic is capable of providing an end-to-end solution for 3D - from producing images to authoring 3D Blu-ray Disc™ movie titles, and then to manufacturing home entertainment solutions extremely quickly, making use of plasma’s rapid response times and thus dramatically reducing crosstalk. The use of newly-developed phosphors with short luminescence decay time - one third of the time of conventional phosphors - as well as illumination-control technology, has enabled the crosstalk reduction technology to successfully minimise double images.

3D Content ProductionPanasonic provides Hollywood with a wide range of technical support for creating 3D movies. Panasonic has developed a twin-lens 3D camera recorder for high-efficiency Full HD 3D video production. Panasonic is rapidly advancing the development of new 3D authoring systems, beginning with the 3D image compression technology of our MPEG-4 AVC High Profile Video Encoder. |

Delivering Full HD 3D content to your homeOnce 3D content is created, the 3D data is compressed, encoded and recorded on a Blu-ray discTM. Panasonic offers a Full HD 3D Blu-ray player to read the data. The Blu-ray player is linked to a Panasonic Full-HD 3D TV via a HDMI cable. The 3D content is then displayed on the TV screen and the viewer can watch it wearing Panasonic 3D active shutter eyewear. |
