2003 Sound and Image Awards

Panasonic has taken away the top prize in the 2003 Sound and Image Awards, receiving the Judges' Choice Award for the DMR-HS2 DVD Recorder. In addition, the DMR-E30 took out 'Digital Video Recorder of the Year'; and the TX-47P600H received a judges' recommendation in the 'Rear Projection TV' category.

The Sound and Image Awards, established by the Horwitz publishing group 15 years ago, provide a consumer guide to the best home entertainment products available in Australia, with the winners also published in 'Sound and Image' magazine.

Products are judged on ease of use, design and build features, ergonomics, styling and performance.
